Ballina Family Resource Centre is currently providing a facility for Mayo Cancer Support Association Outreach Services to run a support service in Ballina every Tuesday morning.

A Mayo Jobs Club will be held in the Ballina Family Resource Centre, Abbey Street, Ardnaree, from 10am to 1pm, every weekday morning until Friday January 27.

Local Heart and Stroke Charity Croí in partnership with HSE West Mayo PCCC (Primary, Community and Continuing Care) will hold a one-day Healthy Heart Initiative in Ballina as part of their Heart Smart Mayo programme.

Schoolwise is a six week programme for parents/guardians.

Are you a man and interested in exercising and getting fit? If the answer is yes, Ballina FRC in conjunction with Mayo Sports Partnership and Pat O’Brien is running a fitness programme for men of all ages. Classes include circuit training, hill walking, kettle bells, and swimming. It will be held on Wednesday September 21 from 9.30am to 10.30am in Ballina Family Resource, Abbey Street. The cost is €5.
